What could this be?

It is only on her face, normally she has grogeous clear 4 yr old skin. They are not blisters though, just flatish red spots.

Could it be a mild mild dose of chicken pox as she is in such close proximity.

DD2 caught the pox in Amsterdam, but DD1 in Wiltshire so it could be a different strain.... is that common.

No Dr Mumsnets on line? Just want to know if older daughter likely to be contagious too as she is due to go to nursery today.....

She has about 8 spots on her face, but none anywhere else.

I'm in similar chicken pox limbo. My ds2 had it badly 2 weeks ago. Today ds3 has 3 spots, one on his face and 2 on his back.

Dd complained of a slight headache this morning but no spots otherwise perky so I sent her to school...if I kept her off every day that she just might be getting ill she would miss alot of days....

not sure.....

here
Ds had it before school hols he had runny nose and an episode of vomiting a week prior to rash coming out.
When rash came out he was fine went to doc and they can't give you anything but advised me to keep him off school for couple days although it says not contagious when rash appears.

Mmmmm food, for thought, thank you. They have calmed down during the course of the day. It is just as if she has a few pox in sympathy for her little sister.... odd

ds seemed to fade over the day too then flared up again esp if he was warm or had been running around , it lasted for 2/3 days !
