OJ, sounds like you kept the postman very busy today . You, Steve and the kids need all the pampering you get.

I've just looked at your picture gallery (can't believe I've never found it before) and that picture of Steve sleeping with Elliot next to him reminded me so much of Mark. I had to do a double take. The Abbey and Bethan have wonderful smiles and Elliot looks so grown up for 11. Keep taking photos if you feel you are able to. I took quite a lot in the week before Mark died and although I didn't think I would look at them often since, I have. It reminded me of the courage and dignity that he showed in coping with the cancer till the end. In time OJ, the photos of Steve during the illness will come to mean the same to you. Thinking of you as always. xxx

I've not posted on your threads before but have followed how you've all been doing for a while now and am always awestruck at the immense dignity, love and care you have shown throughout this really difficult time.

I'm so glad that you feel that you can get so much support from MN, and I am equally as bowled over by the huge kindness shown here by people who have never met you and yet feel so much for you and your family.

I find it so horribly ironic that it is often at the worst of times when the best of human nature shines. The exception being your MIL of course.

I've been following these threads for a long while now, but have not posted so far, because I'm just too humbled to know what to say. OJ, you are an inspiration to all of us. I send you and your very special kids my warmest thoughts and support - and Steve too. He has been truly blessed to have you caring for him.

I'm so glad the flowers cheered you OJ and that you get some precious moments with Steve today.
