I'd like to hear if you've have decided to have a full MOT Women's Heath Check .
What did you get checked & was it worth it.
I'm almost 50 and want to stay ahead of my good health .
I know the NHS don't do a one stop shop.
So I'm prepared to pay .
Can anyone recommend a company or service provider?
Many thanks

I'd think more carefully about this. A lot of these tests just pray on the 'worried well' and having random tests for no clinical reason can sometimes produce results that have no real basis on anything.
Ask me how I know!!! 😀

Having said that though - I'm 53 and I've done the following since I turned 45 ish

A private mammogram every 2 years

A vitamin D test

An iron test

A cholesterol check

A diabetes check

I use Thriva for these (might have a referral code for money off - dunno! - if you're interested) and I find them reliably good, quick and well established as a company

So yes, do the basics to ensure you're OK for the main things but don't go too in depth as no need until you need to - if that makes sense

Thanks that's really helpful.
It is all those tests that I really want but it's just pointless to try and get it done through my doctors surgery seeing as I can't even make an appointment.
Is the Vit D test for bone density?
