Pain Several Months After Hernia Repair

I’m going to make a doctors appointment anyway but just wondered if anyone has had pain several months after an op to repair a hernia? Mine was umbilical, done at the end of January. I had some pain & discomfort with scar tissue etc but it’s been fine up until the last week or so. Hoping it’s not popping out again!

Anyone?

I had a inguanal hernia repair in April and I got a few random sharp pains for the first few months after the initial post-op pain wore off, but the surgeon said to expect them. If you're still getting the pain you got before the op I would speak to your GP as it may mean it wasn't successful.
