Blood test results showing high Cholesterol

Hi there

Blood test is showing high Cholesterol but nothing about Blood Sugar? The reason dh was tested was because of symptoms such as frequent urination/thirst and he also had sugar in his urine.

We don't have a phone appt until next week to discuss results. Dh is really uncomfortable and unable to concentrate at work. Is it normal for them to test for Cholesterol when ruling out diabetes?

Is there a result called "HbA1c" on the blood test list anywhere? That's it.

Oddly enough no! I'm wondering whether they just haven't uploaded those specific results but uploaded the cholesterol?

Already had a bad experience where they didn't test the blood and we only found out a week later when we called for results. That's when they said to come back for a retest! Really hope they've tested for the right thing seeing as it's not on the results at all :(

May come in separately as it's a different tube to the cholesterol

Sometimes tests don't come in all at once.
