Teenage sons leg sensation issue

My son aged 13 - 6ft, slim build, active rides a bike to school, no health issues has told be that he keeps getting this feeling that he can’t feel his legs.
He said it to me last week that it happened when he had done a long, hard run at school (10-15mins), but now he’s saying that it happens anytime (not regular but seemingly for no reason). He has mentioned this second bit to me tonight and I’m a bit worried now tbh. There is no pain/discomfort at all he just says it feels like his legs aren’t there for a few seconds. Anyone any ideas please?

Get to the gp, could be nerve issue in spine?

GP ASP or phone 111. It could be nothing but it could be serious. Push for MRI

Have u had any luck?

@Seabreeze18 thanks for thinking of us. So I spoke to my son again first thing - he says he feels a bit lightheaded and it happens it’s only happened about 4 times he said and literally last a few seconds. I managed to get an apt with gp - they are going to do bloods thinking it maybe an iron deficiency.

That’s good! I have a feeling that vitamin d and or vitamin b can be nerve related too so maybe just a simple thing?

please update us!
