Female hair loss

Hi
my front hairline has never been particularly strong and got worse after two pregnancies. But that was a decade ago and now instead of having recovered it’s getting even worse! I literally have like a fringe going back 1.5 inches or more, without having one cut 🤦🏼‍♀️ (needless to say the rest of the hair is long) any advice on what I can do to improve things? Thanks!

I don't know from what you describe OP whether the hair is coming out from the roots at the front or whether it's breaking off at a certain length.

I've got frontal fibrosing alopecia, known as male pattern baldness, where the hair recedes from the front.

I would advise you talking to your GP because if you have what I have the sooner you have medical intervention the more chance there is of saving the hair.

And hopefully if it's not what I have the GP will be able to diagnose and help.

@Wishicouldnotcare it seems to be both as far as I can tell but thank you so much for responding and sorry you’re dealing with it too 😔
