My skin is so dry and flaky has been for a long time. My clothes be covered in flakes. When I take a long sleeve jacket or top of so many flakes come off the sleves: even if I lift my top up flakes are falling everywhere . I have black trackbottoms and shoes on and I can’t even bare to wear them anymore as they are both covered in flakes even my shoes!! I tried moisturising a lot with E45 itch cream as my skin gets soo itchy but nothing is helping and it’s driving me insane the flakes are everywhere ! Any tips! Thanks Confused

The cold can make a big impact as cold air holds less moisture.
there are a lot of different things that can cause dry skin so it might be worth identifying the cause to help find the right answer

Lots of small things that make a difference.
Winter is worse more because of central heating than cold.
Don't shower too often.
Moisturise all over 2 or 3 times a day.
E45 or zerobase - heavy duty creams can help with eczema but in my experience don't absorb easily. I get zerobase on prescription but actually get better results with a big tub of old school nivea.
