How long does a replaced (deep) filling feel painful?

Had an old fillling that had cracked, dug out and replaced on wednesday... it felt okish til yesterday and now I have a dull ache in the nerve below, even with painkillers. I think it may be a tad high and might need filing down, but is sensitivity normal? It's years since I had a filling replaced!

Sensitivity is normal and teeth can take months to settle

I've been there and can only say that it took a while to settle down. Take a painkiller. Don't suffer the painBrew
