Is there any dentists in here ? I have bad health anxiety about my teeth I go to the dentist every 3 months 🫣 for the past day I’ve had a cut on my gum and now I’m terrified it’s the beginning of gum disease😩 I asked her last time I went if I had any signs of it she said no my teeth are healthy and perfect etc. The reason I’m so worried is because my mum has gum disease and honestly she has about 4 teeth left and has to wear dentures 😩 I’m now panicking that cos she was a dentist and not a hygienist she hasn’t picked it up. I’ve attached a picture please can somebody tell me if it just looks like a normal cut on my gum. Thank you
edited to add, everytime I brush it it bleeds which I’ve never had before. My husband thinks it’s cos I’ve been eating slot of sweets lately (Halloween)
