Toenails .. fungus... one toenail broken off

Today, while using varnish remover, on what seemed like the healthiest of 3 toenails I've been treating for fungus, 1/4 of the nail just sheered off.

Should I trim down the other half as well as I can? Leave it as is? Wrap in a plaster? Continue to file and put Vicks on the other side? Stop? See a Doctor?

And while you're here with advice - if you used Vicks as the primary treatment, did you also file the nails and how often did you file?

Currently have upped my regiment to file every day once ( previously was once a week ) plus 2x daily Vicks

And I have some overnight patches from Amazon that may actually do nothing and cost lots - so maybe won't continue those when they run out - they are very sticky and difficult to remove - requires varnish remover in the morning.

If you zoom in on the second toe you can sort of see how it's lost the right upper corner.

Including all toes in case the state of the others inspires anyone with useful advice

Happens to me all the time.

I get on top of one toe, then another develops it. I just leave it when the nail comes off. It grows back really quickly, I just paint nail polish over the nail bed, no one can tell.
