What treatment for hip/back pain?

I've injured my hip/lower back (picking my 30kg labrador up after she'd had surgery!), I'm now in bloody agony. It's been a week now and although I've been resting it, taking paracetamol and ibuprofen, I'm still in pain. I'm considering making an appointment with either a chiropractor, osteopath or Chinese acupuncturist? What do you all suggest as I'm desperate and my gp doesn't have any appointments available for another 10 days!

Also, any recommendations for clinics in Chester would be amazing 👏

Thank you all so much in advance.

Osteopath. I saw both physio and chiropractor for mine and it didn't improve, but the osteopath has helped me enormously.

I have also found an Osteopath to be a wonderful help with pain, as she corrects alignment. It’s definitely worth an appointment to see what they say.

I would recommend a physiotherapist, they have sorted out shoulder problems for me very effectively.

I’ve had good treatment from an osteopath recently. I was actually amazed at the difference afterwards.
