Multivitamins vs. individual supplements – what’s best for health?

Hi,

I’m a 35-year-old woman, and I currently take a good-quality multivitamin. However, I’m wondering if it might be better to focus on specific vitamins, like iron or vitamin C. Is there an advantage to taking individual vitamins over a multivitamin? Are single vitamins generally higher quality than multis?

I’d love to hear what others take and recommend for general health and wellness.

Thanks!

I'd be interested to know this too. Hopefully some more people will be along soon.

I know it's an oldish thread but I've recently been researching around this and decided to go for these Arbor Trinity vitamins. It's a small start up by a pharmacist but seems to have the benefits of a multivitamin but avoiding the interactions and timings issues of the usual once daily multi vitamins.
