Skin blemish that won't go

Will my doctor look at me funny if I ask for an appointment for a red blemish on my nose that's been there for months? I've tried all manner of facial scrubs to get rid of it but it won't go and it's so prominent it's bothering me.

Who cares if they look at you funny? A sore that won't heal can sometimes be a skin cancer so definitely worth checking out. It's likely not but worth a check.

No they won’t look at you funny. Please make an appointment to have it checked out. Don’t let them put you off either.

I had the same and it was skin cancer. I had chemo cream which cleared it up quickly. GP asap.
