COULD A 4 MONTH OLD BE TEETHING?

The title says it all

We're just wondering as he seems to try and gnaw his hand off, drooling lots and has bright red cheeks. He seems perfectly happy in himself though.

My Dad was born with teeth, my DH had four teeth by four weeks...and DS cut his first and second teeth within a day of when I got mine (24 weeksish).
