Can you use athletes foot cream under your arms?

Stupid question probably but it's all the same anti-fungal ingredient isn't it?

I've had some rash thing under both armpits. Initially caused by my use of natural deodorants such as Fussy - I think the bicarb in them irritates me

Anyway I stopped all deodorant use a fortnight ago and my arms initially improved but now the rash is back.

It's not sore (unless I was to put deodorant on) and it's not shiny or oozing or anything. Doesn't itch. I don't sweat that I notice so not caused by that. It's just patches of red skin that look a bit unsightly

I've tried sudocrem and eumovate but they don't work for long. So I now wonder if it could be fungal so worth trying athletes foot cream or something more specific?

Thanks in advance

I had an underarm rash and my GP suggested Athletes foot spray.
