DS,2.8 been vomiting since this time yesterday...

and cant even keep water down. has a bit of a dicky tummy but not so bad. he is really lethargic and says his tummy hurts.

is this a D and V bug or should i be concerned that its something else??

answer yes or no here and it will tell you what to do.

I'm actually starting to get quite concerned about dd2 now. She is managing to keep small quantities of water down, but is just sleeping on the settee. Keep telling myself that sleep is the best thing for her.

It's awful when they're poorly, isn't it?

(if you try that rehydrating drink thing mentioned on the other thread, it tastes disgusting I suspect dd2 is trying her hardest to get better so I don't make her drink any more of it )

DS2 (15 months) had the most horrendous sickness bug recently, it totally wiped him out. He couldn't keep anything down, not even water. We ended up taking him to A&E (after call to NHS direct), it did pass but it took a good few days and he also had a very high temp.

Sleep definitely the best thing.

he slept for 3 hours at lunch, he is soooo weary already and keeps clutching his tummy. have got dp to bring some rehydration salts home from work and some lucozade sport.if he gets anymore quiet/lethargic i'mtaking him to a and e...poor wee mite
