To think even though my crp count is normal. This is not

I went to a&e as my foot went from fine to this within 12 hours started of small and got more and more swollen, red and hot. I've had many cases of cellulitis and abcsses and it felt like an abcsses. A&e were initially very good said they could see a shadow of fluid on xray. More than likely I'd need IV anti biotic, drainage of the abcsses and a scan. They took some bloods and I said my crp count is often fine or only slightly elevated and that didn't always correlate to how I'm feeling. Well blood test came back and they were only slightly raised! So oral antibiotics and sent on my way. It spread whilst I was there and has continued to I am in so much pain and have a slight temperature.

I just don't know what to do

The UK ranges of many tests are wide enough to be able to take a gamble and save money on treatment. You know your body, fight for your voice to be heard. I have had urosepsis twice, both equally acute, CRP 175 first time, only 75 the second but was equally as ill and was treated with the sepsis pathway both times (not in UK) I am sending you empathy, this is possibly the worst type of pain a human can endure, I hope you get treated properly and with great care.
