I've been on the copper IUD for 18 months. No issues other than a lot of pain being put in.
For the last four weeks I've been cramping non stop, particularly on one side, and I've been bleeding/spotting after my period without stopping. Is my body rejecting it? I can feel the strings but no plastic so as far as I can tell it's in place.
I can't go on hormonal BC so I feel really stuck as my husband doesn't trust condoms.
I did a pregnancy test in case it was an ectopic but that was negative.
I'm currently waiting for a call back from 111 as the GP was useless.
