How long did your MRI results take

Had a scan on Monday just wondering how long it might be.

It depends what is was for and how urgent.
My friends relative has been waiting 6 months for scan results for poor balance and been told it could be another few months because the consultant assigned to him has left.

Typically within a week. It’s an appointment to discuss the results with your consultant that you really have to wait for in most cases

I had one Monday too and have a follow call next Thursday to go through results

Mine took 3 weeks. I was told it would take 2 weeks. It was an MRI of my head. I only knew my result because I logged into my Patient Access app-no letter. I was told on Patient Access to make a routine appt with my GP to discuss the result.
