Just wondered if anyone any thoughts on this. I have a 8mth old DS - my 2nd child and am 43. This time body not wanting to get back to anything approaching acceptable shape. Used to run a lot before children and have decided to take it up again as less time consuming than having to go to a gym - and more flexible. Am breastfeeding though and just wondered if it is OK to run. Will all the joggling about have any effect on milk supply/flow?? Obviously will wear armour-like sportsbra. Anyone know???

I ran and breastfed from 6 weeks after birth up until gave up bf at 1 year old. no probs at all. just wear a supportive bra and don't go crazy e.g. 20-30 minutes per time.

I'm still breastfeeding my 21 month old. I have been runnning for almost a year and everything is fine

Go and get fitted for that amoured sports bra

Obviously I haven't been running continuously for a year! I'd be very fit if I had been

Thanks for all this - I have got the sports bra - apparently wearing 2 helps strap them down! - and the running shoes. Just need the dark glasses now.........
