Are Invisalign trays different to whitening trays?

I'd like to do a course Invisalign but I'd like to know how it feels before signing up for it. Does it feel different to whitening trays? I recently whitened my teeth and I struggled wearing the trays all night for 2 weeks. They felt very thick and rigid. Does Invisilign feel the same? I've always had quite chubby cheeks, and I still have the scars from where my old retainer used to rub as a teenager. Do the trays cause irritation?

It feels wierd at first. The trays are fine and moulded to your teeth. It really doesn’t even affect your speech too much.

When you replace the trays with the next set everything can feel a little uncomfortable and I had the occasional panic thinking I’d never get them in/out. A few deep calming breaths and all worked ok.

They don’t rub/hurt at all like braces do.

I was the model patient and only took mine out to eat. It reduces the amount of snacking you do and extra teas and coffees. I got my treatment done quite quickly and can’t believe I procrastinated so long about getting it done.

I love my ‘new’ teeth.

it do have the bars cemented top and bottom to hold everything in position. They are more of a faff with food getting stuck and having to use interdental brushes.

I’d highly recommend invisalign.

They felt weird at first but after a couple of days couldn’t remember if they were in or not. Used those for whitening too. Got the night time retainers now, they’re much thicker and quite hard to remove but seem to be getting easier as they loosen up with wear. Was worth it although eye wateringly expensive!
