For the past 3/4 nights he ahs been waking a lot between 10 and 1 and he is soaking with sweat. He actually has droplets of it on his body - almost as though he had been in the rain. His bed is needing stripped becasue it is wet. The past 2 nights I have only had a sheet and blanket over him, and he is still sweating a lot. The bedroom isn't overly warm, the window is open,a nd he is often sleeping in just boxers because of the sweating. Any suggestions? he is 10.

It sounds like you need to take him to see the GP. There are a number of different things that can cause this.

He isn't showing any other signs of illness though! Am very aware of diabetes, my dad had it and my brother and a couple of cousins have it

There are other illnesses that can cause this, he may simply have a virus but it should be checked.
