White/yellow spot and pus near tonsils (not tonsillitis)

Hi all! On my right side, infront but not on my tonsil I have what looks like a white pus spot (if it was elsewhere I would think its a zit/spot/ pimple). It's tucked behind an arch part of my mouth so it's hard to take a pic. I came across it when I had started getting a metallic taste in my mouth a week ago. I looked in my mouth, saw a very yellowy pus patch so of course tried to prod it and when I did, ALOT of puss squirted out. I had no idea there was that much hiding there! Metalic taste went (i assume it was the puss). The nurse couldn't see anything in my mouth (clearly I had squirted out the evidence) and suggested a mouth wash. Anyway, I can see a white spot in a similar place again and near by can feel what I think is the start of a spot forming. I don't have a sire throat.

Any I wondered if any of you ladies any experienced anything like this? Did it clear up eventually? Any ideas what it is? Thanks!

tonsil stones so gross all you can do is clean them out

Tonsil stones. Have a look at the many videos of them on you tube. I get them a lot and it’s so annoying. Be careful prodding them out as you can really hurt yourself if you’re not careful. Gargling with salt water does help to get rid of them a little.

Hello! Thanks for the responses. I don't think they are tonsil stones as they are infront of the tonsils and the stuff that came out was soft (pus) not hard. Best description i can give is thats its like pimple

Could it be a cyst on your tonsil?

That's what I was thinking but whenever I Google 'throat cyst' it comes up with quinsies. But surely people must still get small cysts in the throats/tonsils that arent quinsies🤔

I get stones and they're like this before the harden to become proper stones.

Yay well done on the pic! I'd say if it isn't sore, it's likely to be a tonsil stone.
