Heat sensation in lower back but no back pain

Randomly today I have been feeling a sensation of heat on my lower back, a bit like if I had a heat patch on but obviously I don’t.

From googling it, it says it could be due to nerve damage, a herniated disc or degenerative disc disease. I do suffer with back pain occasionally but I’m not having a flare up at the moment and have no pain in this area at all so surely it can’t be that?

I did however sprain my ankle four weeks ago and am still struggling with some low level pain. It’s only this week that I’ve been able to physically point my foot properly and move it in a full circle.

Has anyone got any experience with something like this. I have no idea if this could be linked, whether I should be getting this looked into or just carry on as I am.

I am not a qualified medical professional

I expect it's to do with your ankle. You'll have been using your muscles differently.
