So I'm just wondering if anyone can weigh in on whats actually wrong with me. I see a consultant tomorrow so I'm hoping for answers, but not hopeful based on my past experiences...
I've suffered from Tinnitus for as long as I can remember. It's not there all the time but I have what I refer to as flare ups. This will be big bouts of Tinnitus for days, followed by what feels like an ear infection (pain, tenderness, throbbing, infection taste in mouth etc), however when I see a doctor they say my ears are clear (but still end up giving me antibiotics🤦🏻♀️)
I also wake up on a morning really congested, so bad that it makes me gag and throw up. I also get told by people a lot that I sound like I have a cold, when I often don't which makes me think I naturally sound bunged up.
Any idea what's going on? Is it possible for me to be getting ear infections too deep for a doctor to be able to see it with their otoscope?
