Not sure if you need to see GP but you could try calendular [sp?] cream, I had Neal's Yard make me some up, and sticking a chamomile teabag in a bath.

Cream is fine.

I've just been prescribed canestan cream and internal cream by my doctor and I am nearly 16 weeks pregnant.

I've also bought it without prescription during pregnancy and self medicated.

I got prescribed it. In addition, get yourself some teatree soap from the health shop (not scented, actual essential oil one iyswim) and use that in the shower to wash down there - and rinse immediately and well. And wash your knickers in a hot wash, no fabric softner as that can aggravate. If that still doesn't work, try cutting out sugar and yeasty products for a bit.

But you will probably need the canesten to start you off as it gets really sore if it's been going on. The above is working perfectly as a preventative measure for me.
