Viral muscle/joint pain - turned chronic?

I'm heading into week 7 of muscle/joint pain after a virus caused me an infection. I had 2 weeks in hospital in mid August and sent home with no diagnosis from the Drs and Rheumatology to hope the virus and infection goes and to manage my pain with meds. I'm on strong anti inflammatory tablets and paracetamol and it's just not working anymore.

I've got another follow up with GP next week but has anyone had this before and had it last this long? Or deal with similar issues from a chronic illness? I'm worried this is just me now.

My meds are supposed to last 24 hours but I have constant pain and joint stiffness all over but I get flare ups and my meds can wear off after 4 hours now.

My issue now is I'm finding I'm ok if I don't do anything at all, and I mean nothing , just lying in bed. However a little bit of activity such as cooking food, hanging washing. Just walking for 2-5 minutes I can be in tears crying my body locks, and hours later and day after I can barely walk without aid.

I've been told by some people I need to try move more, but when I do, I'm in so much pain and I also get really fatigued and nauseous.
