any one know how long after giving birth you can suffer from pnd?

Oh I was so pleased to hear that you have a decent HV. Our HV was lovely but has sadly now retired.

Don't be . Most reasonable GPs would have picked up that something is not quite right, even if you didn't feel able to express yourself very well at the time. Depression can seriously knock your confidence, and (imo) it is a big thing to admit that things aren't going well.
