She is 5 months old and possibly teething. Puts everything in her mouth but cheeks aren't red or hot. This morning her tongue keps comig out on the left hand side of her mouth like she's had a stroke or something. She seems absolutely fine apart from that. She is PFB so I'm probably worying over nothing but someone telling its ok. Is she just rubbing her tongue over gums on that side??

she's probably just realised she has a tongue and she can move it

Probably, my DS did this when he was teething. Why not ring the NHS helpline just for reassurance?

As long as it is not swollen or anything. Always be on the safe side because of pos allergic reactions. Just makes me aware because my dd has allergic reactions to nuts.

It doesn't look swollen. It is weird though. Maybe I'll see if she still is doing it later. Thanks

My ds does this on and off for a few weeks at a time. I'm assuming its a tooth thing.

My dd did this just as her tooth was cutting through and saliva just ran out from under her tongue (looked a bit like a dog drooling for a drink she has started to do it again now that the 2nd tooth is cutting through hth
