What is this bump on my foot?

It's not visible but I can feel it and it bloody hurts to press or stand on it. It's between the arch and the ball of my foot. I'd take a photo but there's nothing to see!

Any ideas?

I think you may have plantar fasciitis, which is usually centered on the heel but can sometimes extend forward. Or metatarsalgia, which causes pain in the ball of the foot. I have been there so I can speculate. But I would recommend seeing a doctor for advice.

I've had plantar fasciitis before, this doesn't feel like a 'strain' type of pain (I felt like something was going to snap when I had it). This is more like a nodule.

I've had metatarsalgia too (I have great feet, me!!) but again this feels a little different and it's not near a joint. I'm now wondering if I've just bruised it Blush

Would a doctor actually do anything for it, or do I need to see the podiatrist? I can't get a GP appointment for love nor money.

Bump update, now a bruise. Excuse the feet Blush What on earth have I done to my foot?!

I haven't been able to get to a doctor yet.

Poor you that looks sore

Have you heard of Morton's neuroma? I've had a few and it feels like you've stepped on a marble when you walk on it

I would definitely go and get that seen though - a podiatrist is probably your best bet

Morton's?

Morton's seems a popular opinion! Yes I think it's time to go to the podiatrist☹️
