Hey everyone.
i am currently suffering from some type of cardiovascular symptoms, chest pressure, shortness of breath, fast heartbeat/palpitations, feeling abit lightheaded and headaches every now and then, i had an abortion a few weeks ago and was wondering if the medication could be the cause of this? I have always suffered with palpitations they were rare but there and since taking the abortion medication, things in the heart department have ramped up, the doctors gave me omeprazole then now they’re saying i have asthma and that my heart would be last on the list despite having a history of family heart problems. I do have health anxiety and have done since i got pregnant last year and since giving birth to my son 8 months ago (hence the abortion recently) i just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything like this before, i’m only 32 and have lost 2 stone, i’m scared to eat properly, i’m sometimes scared to sleep and have cried non stop since this all started because i’m scared im going to drop dead, i’ve been told other problems in the body can cause the heart to do whatever but im struggling to find cause how i can go from being alright to now whatevers going on.. any advice would be welcome xx

@fedupmum2023 how are you feeling? Have you got anywhere?

I forgot to say they do think i could be anemic due to have the heavy bleeding after the abortion and then i recently had a big continous bleed for 6 weeks after having my implant put back in, i went to the doctor because i started going dizzy, i was absolutely exhausted aswell, i’ve also been referred back to gynae because they’ve said i have calcified deposits in my uterus which sounds fun 🙃 so yes blood test will hopefully be back monday but again is it going to help my symptoms.. how are you feeling? Did you get anywhere with your symptoms at all? Xx

Morning at least you have got somewhere. I had a 24hr holter on. I don't feel as bad now with heart beats but still feel them and I know I don't feel myself still. I have scan on Monday for my heart. They keep telling me it is my thyroid. How is your heart beats? I don't have any chest pain anymore but do get short of breath.

My heart does beat funny, i get alot of palpitations and i have an appointment to have one of those monitors too but i don’t think its going to pick anything up tbh as the palps are not regular

Good morning❤️, my heart palpitations seem to have calmed down loads.. i still get the odd one every now and then but definitely have seen an improvement. I have lost weight, sleeping better and stress im trying to keep down aswell .. i think after a stressful pregnancy and all the stress, lack of sleep etc that comes after having a baby, my body was in a bad way but i’m the same now i don’t panic anymore or worry about it i just get on with it.. glad you are feeling better though bless you its a hard thing to get through sometimes, hopefully it carries on this way for us both and we can keep living a normal life ❤️❤️
