Ok I am getting really fed up with my periods. Ever since I can remember they have always been really inregular, I can go for months without having one. I have 2 DC's. In september 2006 I had a period and then didn't have any periods until 4 days before xmas (2006) I found out I was pregnant with DD2. I was going to be referred in that sept to have a scan on my ovaries but then went back to the doc when I found out I was pregnant and he cancelled it.

I haven't had a period since end of jan, beg feb this year. Thought i was coming on a while ago but it didn't happen. I feel really moody and tired though.

Is this really unusal and should I be worried? Thanks

whats your weight like warm summer, are you underweight, could also be thyroid??
must go and see GP.

I would say average weight, want to loose a few pounds! 8st 10lbs roughly and 5ft 3inchs. Will look into that about the thyroid. Are there any other symptoms?

Well I suffer from irregular periods atm.
I also suffer from a underactive thyroid and I have been told that is to blame.

I think it could be right as I have noticed that when my thyroid is under control, my periods are more regular, but if it isn,t I go much longer without having one.

Feeling tired and even moody are symptoms of a underactive thyroid.

I have irregular periods too... had my thyroid checked because it was the problem my mother had and I came back normal... But I do have very low B12 for which I have to have injections every 3 months and low B12 can make you VERY tired. don't know if this is what is causing the irregular periods with me as i've had a coil put in since having my DD and haven't had a period since!

warmsummerday, I could have written your post. Except I haven't had one since the beginning of December. In 2005, I was referred to the 'women's problems place' but it turned out I was pregnant with DS. I am definitely not pregnant now. I had my thyroid tested a while ago but it is fine.

I know I should get it checked but I haven't yet.
