Thats it really she had her immunisations at the correct ages, MMR at 15 months but I don't understand why she has to have a booster so soon again?

We're in Scotland if that anything to do with it?

No DS has just got his reminder, it is to do with school entry. He is due to start school in Sept (aged 4 +2 weeks) so they start calling them in now to make sure they have had it by school entry age.

DD is a November birth and had it when she was 4.5.

DD1 won't got to school until she is 5.1yo (Aug 2009)

according to the immunisation schedule these boosters are given any time from 3 years 4months. My dd had hers at just over the age of 4 (we are in Scotland too)

DD had hers at 3y4m, she was already in school (Pre-nursery, but in a primary school iykwim)

Thanks that makes sense now.

Poor baby will have to bribe her with something now.

Don't know it this will be the same for you but we were terrified dd was going to be awful having her jabs but she was an absolute trooper

We were honest about it, told her it was medicine to stop her being ill, that she'd have 2 quick injections in her arms and it would hurt a little bit but not for long and we wanted her to be brave. Oh, and she'd get a treat afterwards - always helps.

I think it helped that she'd seen me have a few in hospital and had come with us when the dts had their jabs, so she knew what to expect.

Hope your dd is brave too!

Think thats it last time she was a baby now she's a little girl who will remember these things.

Will have to get her something nice for afters.
