I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing as me.
About a month ago, I had three infected insect bites and took flucloxacillin for them. Ever since taking the flucloxacillin, I have been randomly having skin reactions with white welts coming up after a tiny scratch or sometimes for no reason at all. My head has been itching and bumpy and about every other day I'm taking an antihistamine to stop the symptoms. Could this be a reaction to the antibiotics? I believe that years ago I had some kind of allergy as a child, but don't often take antibiotics so it's hard to say.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of thing or can think what could've caused this? I'm also thinking it could be to do with the extreme reaction I had to the bites themselves? Many thanks for your help.
