My husband's health is all over the place with seemingly random symptoms and I'm wondering if any are connected or anyone knows if they are under an umbrella of one diagnosis? (Maybe I'm clutching at straws).
It started 2020 he was diagnosed with sleep apnea, been using a machine since then. In 2021 he began having chest pains/flutters and then fainted once, so off he went to GP who did a blood test and blood pressure, pressure was fine but blood test showed low in folic acid and high cholesterol for his age (at the time 34yrs old) he was advised to change his diet/exercise for 3 months and return for another blood test but felt due to family history it was probably genetic. He duly did as he was told and 3 months later it had come down a little bit not much so he began folic acid tablets and statins. Ticked along okay but excessively tired.
2023 he had a "turn" in work where he felt he couldn't breath, his chest was very sore and he felt faint. He went to a&e where they did an ECG and diagnosed sinus Bradycardia, he was referred to a cardiologist who he saw in February 2024 who did another ECG confirmed the sinus bradycardia and told him that this is not a dangerous condition his heart is okay, it usually causes no symptoms but sometimes can cause fainting and chest pain so he accepted that.
May 2024 he began having retinal migraines. He's had them in the past usually without headache and usually only once a year however since May he's had 5 of them and now accompanied by frequent headaches which he is not usually prone to. He had an eye test done and retinal scan at specsavers 2 weeks ago and they reported no issues just a slight increase in prescription strength for his glasses. He is going to make another doctors appointment this week but he's not really sure what to ask.
Does any of this sound like it could be connected under one larger diagnosis?
