Hi

Yesterday evening I started a thread because I thought she had chicken pox after itchy red spots appeared on her head but today there is nothing so they must of been viral because she has had a cold etc.

Since last week she had very heavy cold, temperature over the weekend and nappies getting softer. Since Sunday she has had diarrhoea and other than being slightly more clingy she seems totally fine and plays as normal, her appetite has increased since last week even with her bad tummy.

I have called the gp and asked if they could call to advise me but they said it will be later on they call.

I really want to go out this morning to a playgroup but obviously would not want to put anyone at risk. I dont think it is a tummy bug because no-one else in our house has it.

I think its probably teething with a cold because I can see two teeth breaking through the skin.

What do you think?

She is almost two and normally has soft poo when teething but has never had diarrhoea before so I am not sure what is normal and how long it lasts. She has lots of wind and not long after eating, there is wind and then its all watery - sorry

Sounds like she is just run down. Give her some Minidex for a couple of days to build her back up. As for playgroup, I would go and just tell people that she is teething.

I think she is just run down and got a cold.

She is running around playing and never complaining when she does a poo so I dont think her tummy aches.

her last one really smelt of popcorn - weird

ooh babytime, think we have a similar problem. DS has been what i'd term off colour for a few days now but nothing really tangible...just clingy, tired, snotty, temperature and poo getting softer (slightly explosive) Can't get past his front gnashers to see if it's some teeth at the back. Oh and he also has tiny tiny spots on his torso. Taking him to gp this pm, if he sheds any light will of course share....had started to wonder if it's an allergy because we've been giving calpol for the temperature so have even been looking that up (the spots on the torso, he got them with penicillin)
what's Minidex?
Had to take him to nursery this morning because of work and cried all way to the station i felt so guilty, but when i called he was having a lovely time so i'm really thinking it's teeth.
Let me know how things are with you.

Hi, Minidex is an oral vitamin supplement. Its great at building kids back up. My dd was really ill before and after she had chicken pox and it made a huge difference to her.
