I've been having heavy periods which has caused anemia. The gp has been great and done lots of tests to find the reason, I had a transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound yesterday. The NHS app shows my results as abdominal but expected and no further action.
I've phoned the GP who just repeated the above and said it's nothing to worry about but didn't elaborate but what could it be - is it just because of my age (mid 40s)?
I'm not worried but curious as to what it could be.
