I take:

iron (because of vegetarian)
multi vit (for everything)
b complex (alleged to help with PMT anger)
evening primrose oil (not enough essential oils in my diet, make skin good.)
vit c (immunity)
ginko biloba (sp) (brain)

I take no vitamins or supplements, eat a good diet and am healthy.

If that ginko stuff is supposed to be good for the brain how come you're not sure how to spell it?

None now, but did take Floradix and a calcium supplement when pregnant as I was pretty much vegan at the time.

You have to be careful if you are taking all that, as the multivit will contain the RDA of everything. Extra vit C is pointless as it will just be excreted, but with some others you could end up having too much.

Best to just eat a good diet - vitamins/minerals do not work in isolation, the best way to get enough of them is to just incorporate them in your diet.

can't spell it because I can't spell - I don't think it is specifically for spelling anyway - but hey if I can spell it in a few weeks we know it works huh?

I only ever took Folic Acid in pregnancy although I was borderline anaemic. Didn't want to take iron in case it made me constipated.

Is the iron worth it for the constipation, Expat?
