Can beetroot change colour of your poop?

I had beetroot Thursday Friday and Saturday, on Saturday night and again last night when I opened my bowels I panicked as the stool was seeping reddish liquid into the toilet water and the water was a dark burgundy colour both nights ( and I didn't have any beetroot yesterday)
I've heard of beetroot changing colour of urine but haven't heard that it can affect your poop so I'm worried about a sinister reason has this happened to anyone else?
I had a colonoscopy nearly four years ago which just found some diverticula

Yes it can, I had a similar panic once before realising it was the beetroot I'd eaten.

Yes, it definitely can. Especially if you eat it three nights in a row!

Yes it definitely can

I love beetroot. I buy it raw and cook it. Definitely comes out both ends very red!

Thank you everyone I've been really worried thinking the worst! Glad to know it's a thing! Hoping it's gone by the next time I need to go!
