New dental crown pain

Haleywaley · 17/07/2024 19:26

I had my crown permanently fitted on Monday, it's a partial not full as there was still a decent amount of my tooth salvageable. I had no pain whatsoever whilst it was been cemented on. I woke the next day and a totally different tooth (2 teeth back from the new crown) had a slight throb to it. Also I seem to have some painful swollen glands under my jaw on that side. I don't think the tooth feels so bad today but the aching glands are worrying, has anyone else had a similar experience ? Should I go back to the dentist or is it too soon?
Thanks

You can go back and let the dentist have a look at the bite. Sometimes a small adjustment is required.
