Hi, i have taken Venlafaxine 225mg x1 a day and Lamotrigine also called Lamictal 100mg x2 a day, for mixed affective disorder ( a type of bipolar) i have noticed over the past few years i get little muscle twitches anywhere over my body however the past 6 months i feel it has increased, to places I didn’t have before eg- upper thigh or different fingers in my hands and it is more frequent so maybe every 10 seconds. They are very small twitches and I only notice when I sit or lie down. I am wondering if it is due to my medication? Anyone out there know if this could be the case? I will be going to the drs this week, and I wasn’t really worried about it before ( not sure why) but the frequency is now worrying me and the possibility they may take me off my medication.
