Would a rash in one small area be an allergic reaction

Itchy spots on ankle after starting antibiotics. I think pharmacist assistant said to speak to doctor about any reaction but I feel fine, it’s small and I have had antibiotics before.

I was going to say shingles until you said on the ankle although maybe still shingles. Have you been anywhere with midges? they always go for my ankles and I dont feel anything until a day or two later when they start to itch.

Does the information leaflet with the antibiotics mention rashes as a side effect?

It is listed as a possible side effect but i have found an nhs page saying take anti histamines so I will get some tomorrow. It such a small patch I figure it’s fine in hindsight.
it doesn’t feel as bad as shingles.
