Migraine and travel insurance

A long shot but I’m trying to get info about whether I can get travel insurance cover for holiday cancellation due to migraine. I am on prescription medication for regular and totally unpredictable migraine attacks that can last for days and we have already missed a holiday due to me being too ill to travel - we had a standard policy that didn’t cover late cancellation and we lost all the money we’d spent on it. Can’t afford (literally) for that to happen again but before I spend hours on the phone trying to get through to insurers it would be good to know if it’s even possible to get the cover I need…

As long as you declare it as a pre-existing condition it should be fine. They would expect evidence if you had to cancel.
Even with multiple serious health conditions it can all be done online, look at some comparison websites and tck yes for pre-existing conditions.

Is it one of your pre exisiting conditions, I have about 12 conditions that I have to labouriously each year go through, plus whatever GP appointments for this and that I need to disclose. You have to tell them every single thing, if not, they'll probably not cover you for it

Have a look at Holiday Extras, I found it super easy to declare existing conditions online with them
