We went to the pharmacist last week who recommended Canesten cream (from the way he was talking to me I think he thought it was probably me who had the itchy bum and was just using dd as an excuse ), which seemed to help for a few days, but today she has been crying with the pain of it I can't see any worms (and trust me, I have looked) but her bum looked very sore and red when I looked today. I know she has been scratching, which presumably will make it worse. Do you think this is worth going to the doctor about? She has clean undies every day and is not allergic to the washing powder, and I don't know what else I can do. It's stopping her from sleeping as the itch is so distracting for her

Mmmm. I did try that, and was not convinced. Then again, I was hormonal and a touch paranoid (according to dh)
