DD had vomiting bug after vaccines - worried about effectiveness

I took DD for her 1 year vaccinations on Monday. She had a mild cold (runny nose) but no temperature and NHS guidance says it is fine to vaccinate with a mild illness and no fever.

Overnight after the jabs she vomited and had a temperature (38.2 - 38.5) and I assumed this was a side effect of one of the vaccines. She vomitted two more times over the next day or so. Nobody else was unwell in the house.

Now, 4 days later, DH has a vomiting bug. So it is possible DD’s vomiting was caused by this bug rather than a vaccine side effect.

I am now worried about how effective her vaccines will be if she did have a vomiting bug the same day as her injections. I’ve Googled it but can’t find any useful information.

Does anybody know if she will be fully protected by the vaccines she had?

The vaccines went into her blood not ingested into her stomach so vomiting wouldn’t affect it.

Thanks for replying. It wasn’t vomiting out the vaccine that I was concerned about, it was more that her body would have been fighting off the stomach bug so might not be as effective in creating antibodies after the vaccine. Sorry I should have explained that in my first post!
