I have caught HFM from my 2 year old, and honestly, I am struggling to get on with anything because of all the blisters on my feet and hands!! So painful!

Any tips or medication on how to reduce the pain / blisters fast? Thank you 🙏

I think hfmd is one of the worst I've had in the last few years, it's so painful!!

I used to wrap my hands and feet in cold wet flannels, that seemed to help temporarily. Piriton helped take the edge off to get a bit of sleep.

Hope it doesn't last too long for you!

I caught this off my then 3 year old. It was UNBEARABLE. I feel very sorry for you. Dr advised Piriton at night and like PP that did help me.
Just so you know : all my toenails fell off. It wasn't painful and they grew back. But that can happen with hf&m!!!! Grim.
I also got tongue blisters. Eeugghhhh.

Oh I feel you op. I caught it off dd1 as an adult and I too couldn't walk or even pick anything up. I was literally putting my hands on bags of frozen peas etc to try cool them/sooth them 🙈 it's an awful illness and defo one of those that's worse if caught as an adult/ I don't have any other tips sorry

It is horrible!!! I can't eat today because of all the ulcers in my mouth! The doctor said if I got it, it would be mild - it does not feel mild!
