Too late to seek medical advice?

Six weeks ago I fell backwards and I thought I had sustained a nasty sprained wrist.
There was a big event on in the city and I had a splint so put that on.
Whilst there has been significant improvement, my hand is still swollen, aches, certain movements cause pain and there is sometimes a slight click in my wrist.
Two days ago I tried going without the splint but it’s back on today.
I know I’m an idiot and should have got it checked over but I think it’s too late now.
Any advice welcome and yes, I’m an idiot.

It still could be a sprained wrist, they can take ages to heal, months if it’s very bad. However, it is best to get checked out. At this stage I’d either wait until minor injuries unit is open on Monday, or speak to GP about an X-ray request. I wouldn’t go and spent 6+ hours in A & E.
I hope it’s nothing too bad & it feels better soon.

@LikeABondVillanDipshit thank you. I’ll try minor injuries on Monday. It’s not too bad but frustrating as I’m still unable to drive- left wrist and can’t change gear - and was supposed to be going to my caravan the day after I fell.
Oh well, could be worse and I’m sure other people have more worrying stuff going on.
