Gallbladder ultrasound results (pic inc)

Had an US on Saturday & the sonographer sent the results to my GP yesterday. Not heard from GP yet, on hold now to try & see him (ha, wish me luck)

In summary - thin walls, mobile gravel, non-tender (no inflammation?)

I'm in discomfort on a daily basis now since the crazy attack a month ago. Woken up with horrible back pain this morning & burning below my ribs.

Does this look like a report that will have my gallbladder evicted from my sad body?

I'm afraid I can't answer your question but how did you manage to see that document? I had an ultrasound last month and in the NHS app I can see the date of my scan and diagnosis of gallstones but can't see a report like this and would be interested to read it.

Unsure. When I had my scan after many attacks the sonographer told me what they could see including a 2cm(!)gallstone and even after that I had a wait and see approach until a year later where I was having almost weekly attacks they agreed to remove

@Notsonifty50

It's under documents rather than test results for me. I was surprised to see it (& that it was back so quick!) before it had been reviewed.

Are you having yours out?

@Caerulea Thank you for that. There's no report in the document section for me.

I was diagnosed with gallstones over 14 years ago. Apparently my gallbladder is almost completely full of them but I have only ever had one gallbladder attack which was eight years ago so no need to operate. Good luck to you
