Waiting for MRI scan results : if it's nothing to worry about do they not bother you with the details?

If someone had an MRI (head and neck ) scan for various vague symptoms a couple of weeks ago, and then got a letter today just saying the consultant will see them in June, would you assume itsn't anytihng to worry about because if it was, they'd tell you sooner?

If there was anything serious on there, they'd be calling them in asap

ThingOne · 07/04/2008 14:51

I've been called in asap so I'd say so!

southeastastra · 07/04/2008 14:52

hope so, dp had one in november and still hasn't heard (or chased them up )

Katisha · 07/04/2008 14:53

Thanks - I feel greatly reassured! Why can't they just say if it's OK rather than leaving you to deduce and ask mumsnet??
